What is Zoom? How it's helping families keep in touch

Welcome to Zoom, the way to host group meetings and calls in 2020. Zoom is the best video conferencing software on the market for group video calls and it's what the Grandpal Community use to make virtual visits and keep in touch with older loved ones.

Zoom is an app for your phone and there's also one for your iPad and computer as well. After you have it installed and signed in with your email, all you really have to do is click a link to join a meeting. Zoom has been around since 2011 and in recent times have soared to be the number first choice for online education, working from home etc.. Talk shows hosts are event using it to still do their shows. We're looking forward to bringing together people in small groups of 2 - 5 people for conversations.

Irish Independent's Adrian Weckler has created a video demonstrating how to use Zoom.
